These are a standard knob design similar to what comes on many chairs.
TPU is great for joystick knobs for the following reasons:
Durability – These will last a very long time.
Chemical Resistance – These can be cleaned with most household cleaners that you might be using on the wheelchair already.
UV Resistance – These can handle the sun and not fade or break.
Feel – TPU is flexible so it feels similar to how a standard knob would feel, and the layer lines from 3d printing add grip.
I am a wheelchair user myself and use one of my 3D printed knobs every day, they stay on, feel nice, and look awesome.
